The lightning network allows users to route payments to each other for low cost and in real-time. It only needs the bitcoin blockchain for final settlement and this is what makes it fast and inexpensive. This webinar discusses a practical and easy way to setup a test bitcoin lightning network on an Amazon cloud server providing a safe way to test how lightning network payments work. The presentation focuses on using docker containers which will have the lightning network software already prepared for use.
