Europe-based digital asset marketplace STOKR has raised $7.98 million in its latest funding round and will use the bulk of that money to build an institutional Bitcoin treasury. This move makes STOKR one of the first European companies to pursue a strategy similar to MicroStrategy. STOKR is making plans to ensure the growth of the treasury and introduce new Bitcoin-based tokenized assets. It will also operate in a more tightly regulated environment, moving from VASP status to CASP status under the European Union's crypto regulations.
